Whimsical Wales

Blog

Shannon and Joe my new spiritual & adventure seeking friends from America said ‘I do’ amongst the birds and trees. Breathtaking views and quirky greenhouses at The Kingstone Brewery, Tintern, located in the rural valleys in Wales, (you have to say this in a Welsh accent its the law, My friends will back me up – I love a welsh accent!) Anywayyyyyy … The weather did not disappoint! There was nothing uniform about this wedding – free spirits represented by their images. No matchy matchy bridesmaids here!

Shannon’ personality is very laid back, not fussy at all she just wants to have fun. So I wanted her Hair and Make-up to reflect her perfectly. We opted for a low, massively textured updo decorated with a gold leaf. Shannon’ Makeup was kept flawless yet freckles on show. A super schmokey brown eye and a playful Red Lip. I used Charlotte Tilbury Magic cream and wonder glow face primer for a dewy healthy base followed by DIOR nude foundation. And a personal favourite of mine MAC Russian Red on her pout. I was in my element! So you can imagine my reaction when Shannon plonked on her muddy boots under her beautiful boho lace dress – Well this screamed BLOG to me!

STUNNING images captured by Aga Tomaszek – Highly recommended.

Kind words from Shannon
‘I just wanted to say that you were absolutely incredible on my wedding day! I was so stressed leading up to the event and I immediatley relaxed once I started getting my Hair and Make-up done with you. You were so calming and exactly what I needed to start the day with. I was so relaxed knowing that I was in such capable hands! My hair and make-up were stunning I felt like a rocky princess. Even more so with petals in my hair for the majority of the evening. Joe’ words – ‘I looked killer hot in the red lip.’
